As someone who has been in the industry for decades and tried lots of hacks, I can confidently say the secret is in simple things.
There’s so much out there right now trying to get your attention. When you feel overwhelmed, stick with the foundations.
Whilst these aren’t shiny new, they will radically change your health now and in the decades to come. And best of all, they’re free.
Try these healthy hacks!
Walk regularly
Take the stairs
Getting red light from morning/evening sunshine
Chewing your food slowly
Exercise snacking, yes 5 minutes counts!
7-9 hours of sleep, and get in bed by 10pm
Family dinners, quality times
5-10 deep breaths
Limiting screens before bed, and turning off all overhead lights at sunset.
Spending more time outside
Prioritising your friendships and laughing with the ones who build you up!
Simple things, contentment and longevity.
